Personal Branding Agency Prestidge Group Names Sandi Sonnenfeld As Head Of US Account Team

New York (October 19, 2022): Boutique personal branding agency Prestidge Group announced the hire of Sandi Sonnenfeld, a senior corporate communications executive with 20 years of experience, as Account Director of its New York office. In that role, Sonnenfeld will head the account team servicing US clients.

A graduate of Mount Holyoke College with an MFA in fiction writing from the University of Washington, Sonnenfeld first worked as a freelance writer and journalist before being hired in the Seattle office of Publicis Dialog (now MSLGroup), the PR arm of marketing communications agency giant Publicis. Sonnenfeld quickly rose to become an Account Supervisor and then Media Relations Director. In that role, she received advanced training in crisis communications and reputation management to handle many of the Seattle office’s most sensitive client matters. While at Publicis, Sonnenfeld either led or worked on client teams that won eleven regional PRSA awards and a Silver Anvil Award for Best Healthcare Launch, the highest national honor in public relations.

Returning to her native New York, Sonnenfeld went in-house to work in the legal sector, including as Director of PR and Firmwide Communications at Kaye Scholer LLP, where she oversaw firmwide messaging, executive communications, internal communications, media relations, social media and awards and rankings for 500 attorneys in nine offices in four countries. Under her leadership, the firm increased its thought-leadership coverage by 60 percent. 

She has secured more than 800 media interviews for senior executives and ghost wrote more than 350 bylined articles and opinion pieces that appeared in top-tier mainstream and industry trade outlets, including the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Forbes, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Entrepreneur, HuffPost and Slate to name just a few. She’s also produced owned content—everything from white papers and annual reports to blog posts and case studies.
